Cape Town - Arsenal will confirm the signing of France international Mathieu Debuchy after the World Cup, according to the Daily Star for around £12m.

Barcelona will today open negotiations with Liverpool over a possible transfer for Luis Suarez. The Catalan club is willing to compromise a deal of around £60m due to his four-month ban for biting Giorgio Chiellini, but Liverpool looking for a fee closer to £80m.

Newcastle have confirmed the arrival of Siem de Jong from Ajax on a six-year deal.
