Cape Town - New Mpumalanga Black Aces assistant manager Ian Taylor admits he's excited about the new project at the club and reuniting with Mushin Ertugral.
The pair successfully worked together at Premiership outfit Ajax Cape Town before the Turk left to join Sivasspor in his native country in 2009 and, since the new takeover of former Ajax owner John Comitis, the pair have now been reunited.
Taylor feels the ambition of the new owner and their vision to move the club to Cape Town will prove to be a major success as his experience in running a club is invaluable.
"Look, if there is one person that can definitely do it, it's John Comitis," he told KickOff.
"He surely has the know how, experience and contacts to make this a success. It's quite clear he has the backing of the people and will also attract a lot of support.
"I mean we'll be starting a club from scratch and to be part of building a club is pretty amazing. I'm very happy and excited. It's definitely exciting times ahead for soccer fans in Cape Town."
Taylor, who started last season as assistant to Roger De Sa, left the club to replace the departing Dan Malesela at Cape Town All Stars, but he was soon relieved of his duties at the First Division side after a string of disappointing performances.
Now the 39-year old concedes he's just looking forward to being involved in the top flight again after being out of work for the last few months.
"On a personal level it's great to be back. I've worked with Muhsin before and it's exciting. To be back in the elite league of the PSL and to gain more experience is fantastic," he added.
