WATCH: Chiefs fans run amok, destroy stadium

Cape Town - The fact that Kaizer Chiefs were knocked out of the Nedbank Cup after a 2-0 semi-final loss to Free State Stars was just the start of the drama at Moses Mabhida stadium on Saturday evening.

Immediately after the final whistle blew, a section of the Chiefs fans began a rampage that would see parts of the stadium damaged, security guards attacked and players fleeing to the change rooms.

Police were forced to use tear gas as well as stun grenades to bring everything under control as Chiefs coach, Steve Komphela announced his immediate resignation shortly thereafter.

WATCH below as Kaizer Chiefs supporters go on the rampage.
