The former Dutch youth international has signed for the Cape-based club after spending the last 10 years at Ajax.

"Peter is relishing his new challenge and the club welcomes the immense quality and experience he will bring to the Absa Premiership," the club said.

The 24-year-old reinforces City's goalkeeping department and will join Sage Stephens at the club after the departure of veteran shot-stopper Shu-aib Walters.

The 36-year-old Walters has been spotted training with fellow Cape side Ajax Cape Town with the aim of clinching a deal.
