Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town’s recently appointed captain, Travis Graham, has been deemed fit for the Absa Premiership clash against Mpumalanga Black Aces.
Graham was forced to miss a few days of training to recover from a knock he picked up in Ajax’s 2-1 home win over Free State Stars at Athlone Stadium.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been in fine form for the Urban Warriors, which has helped the Urban Warriors to four wins and two draws in the opening six matches of the Absa Premiership season.
Ajax Cape Town head coach, Roger De Sa announced earlier in the week that his captain has resumed full training with the side this week, following a few days of training on his own.
“Travis will be available for the weekend. He has been training by himself a little bit, but he has already started training with the rest of the team again. We expect him to be ready for the weekend,” said De Sa to the clubs website.
The Cape-based side face a tricky away trip to Mpumalanga Black Aces who haven’t been on a good run of form lately, despite displaying a good passing brand of football.
AmaZayoni will face Ajax at the Mbombela Stadium on Saturday, September 27.
The clash will commence at 15:00.
