De Sa wary of Aces

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town head coach Roger de Sa says he expects a tough encounter when his side visits Mpumalanaga Black Aces for a league match on Saturday.

The Urban Warriors are set to play Black Aces in back-to-back encounters, starting with the league this weekend, before they lock horns in the last 16 of the Telkom Knockout a week later.

Despite being one of only two sides that are still unbeaten in the league campaign, De Sa has admitted that his opponents pose a threat to their current record.

"Black Aces on paper have a formidable side, there are lots of quality players and after their limited success last year, they have gone even bigger this year in terms of signings," said the Ajax coach.

"Results haven't gone their way yet, but they are a very good team with good experience, and with Clive (Barker) motivating them as I know he can.

"We have a difficult task ahead. I'll be happy to get anything out of it, to be honest," he added.

The Urban Warriors travel to the Mbombela Stadium for the league match, while they will host the Telkom Knockout clash in Cape Town.

Black Aces take on Ajax Cape Town at the Mbombela Stadium on Saturday, September 27 at 15:00.
