The Zimbabwe international has not played any football since last season after suffering knee ligament damage while on loan at Belgian outfit KV Oostende.
The forward then returned to the Brazilians where he has all but completed his rehabilitation, although he is ineligible to feature for the Premiership champions as he was not registered as part of their foreign quota.
And while he currently remains contracted to Sundowns, he may look to force a move away in the January transfer period, although whether that be another loan switch, or a permanent deal, remains to be seen.
But for now, Sundowns communications coordinator Thulani Thuswa told Kick Off: "Nyasha remains a Sundowns player and is training with the first team since recovering from his injury."
