The Buccaneers were looking for some joy against Chippa United on Saturday, following their MTN8 final heartbreak against Kaizer Chiefs.
However, it was not to be as a David Zulu solo effort proved the difference as Chippa downed Pirates 1-0 in a league clash at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
Manyisa was bitterly disappointed with their latest hiccup, but has set his sights getting a result in the Telkom KO, where they also lost in the final last year.
"It was a good match. PE supporters pushed their team all the way and unfortunately we could not come back," the Bucs maestro told the club's website.
"These things happen in football. We went there to win the match but they scored first and protected the goal, but we know we have to be better prepared to face this type of game."
"We have to look now in front of us and try to get a win now.”
“We have a game against Polokwane City and it would be nice to win so that we get back to normal," he added.
Kick-off is at 15:00.
