Stuart Baxter’s charges also claimed home wins over
Bloemfontein Celtic and SuperSport United already this season.
Their next three league opponents are Ajax Cape Town (away),
Moroka Swallows (home) and Orlando Pirates (away).
The Glamour occupy first place in the Absa Premiership
standings with 18 points from six matches.
Maritzburg played to a second successive draw when they were
held 0-0 at home by Black Aces in their last outing.
The KwaZulu-Natal team has claimed just two points from a
possible nine in away matches this season.
Their next three league opponents are Platinum Stars (home),
SuperSport United (away) and University of Pretoria (home).
Steve Komphela’s side are placed sixth in the PSL with nine points from six matches.
In head-to-head stats, Chiefs and Maritzburg have met in 16
league matches since 2005/06.
The Amakhosi have six wins, the Team of Choice four and six
matches have been drawn.
Chiefs have won four of their eight home matches against
United, suffering two defeats in the process.
Last season the Amakhosi took four points from the teams’
two league matches, winning 2-0 at home and drawing 0-0 away.
