AmaTuks set for Swallows challenge

Cape Town - University of Pretoria will host relegation-threatened Moroka Swallows for an Absa Premiership clash at Tuks Stadium.

University of Pretoria saw their winless streak extended to six matches when they held Orlando Pirates 0-0 on Friday night.

The Tshwane side has claimed 15 points from 13 home matches this season.

Their remaining league opponents are AmaZulu (home) and Mamelodi Sundowns (away).

AmaTuks are placed 10th on the Absa Premiership log with 31 points from 27 matches.

Swallows picked up their first draw of 2015 when they held SuperSport United 1-1 away from home earlier in the month.

The Soweto side has claimed 12 points from 13 away matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Maritzburg United (home), Ajax Cape Town (away) and Bloemfontein Celtic (home).

The Birds are placed 16th on the Absa Premiership log with 23 points from 26 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Tuks and Swallows have met in five league matches since 2012/13.

The Pretoria side has claimed three wins compared to one for the Birds, while one match has been drawn.

Tuks have an unbeaten home record against Swallows, with one win and one draw from two matches.

When the teams met earlier this season, AmaTuks claimed a thrilling 3-2 away win in Soweto.

Kick-off is at 19:30.on Tuesday, April 28.
