READ: City beat Chelsea on penalties to win League Cup

Manchester City lifted the Carabao Cup after eventually beating Chelsea on penalties to win a dramatic final at Wembley on Sunday.

The final was marred by an incredible bust-up between Maurizio Sarri and Kepa Arrizabalaga who refused to be substituted in the latter stages of the game before heading to penalties.

The match had finished 0-0 after extra-time, with a tense affair exploding into life in the final moments when Arrizabalaga refused to be substituted, sending Sarri into a rage.

With Chelsea having already missed twice from the penalty spot, Hazard stepped up to take the fifth spot-kick - needing to score to avoid crashing to defeat.

The Belgian who seemingly has ice in his veins stepped up and coolly converted an audacious Panenka under extreme pressure.

Arrizabalaga though failed to stop Raheem Sterling's winning effort for Man City meaning Pep Guardiola's side keep their quadruple dream alive.
