London - Bizarre scenes unfolded in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday evening as Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga refused to be substituted before a penalty shootout, sending Maurizio Sarri into a rage.
Manchester City beat Chelsea 4-3 on penalties to win a dramatic final at Wembley which saw an incredible bust-up between Sarri and the Spanish shot-stopper - who is the world's most expensive goalkeeper.
The match had finished 0-0 after extra-time, with a tense affair exploding into life in the final moments when Arrizabalaga refused to be substituted by Sarri.
Kepa had been struggling with cramp and Sarri was ready to take off the Spaniard, only to be left fuming when his keeper insisted he could carry on.
The Italian came in for criticism after the final whistle with pundit Jermaine Jenas hitting out at Sarri's "lack of class" for failing to congratulate his opponents or acknowledge his players.
