Cape Town - Manchester United are interested in bringing in two Dutch players to join new boss Louis van Gaal looks to boost his squad ahead of the new EPL season.

After retiring from his position as the manager of the Dutch national side, Louis van Gaal wants to add two players that he used regularly during his time in charge of the Oranje.

The London Evening Standard report that Louis van Gaal is interested in adding both Daley Blind and Kevin Strootman to his new look Manchester United team.

Daley Blind is training alone after the the Ajax player returned from the World Cup with a move to England in mind while Strootman may only move in January as the player recovers from a serious knee injury.

“Dutch players are usually cheaper than players of other nationalities and they have usually been very well educated in the Netherlands, I believe." said van Gaal.

"They have to be of a level than can play well in the English Premier League. You have to ask if that is the case with every player.”

Blind was specifically utilised in two positions for the Dutch side which van Gaal is struggling to fill at United with reports suggest Ajax are willing to let the player go but at a hefty price tag.

The Dutch champions have put a £20 million price tag on the versatile player.
