Cheetahs name training squad

    Cape Town - The Cheetahs have named a 36-man training squad for their week-long camp in Jeffreys Bay.

    The squad was named after the Cheetahs' 66-19 win over Shimlas and 21-19 loss to Griquas in back-to-back pre-season outings in Bloemfontein on Friday.

    A Cheetahs team will play against the NMMU Varsity Cup team on Tuesday, January 21, and the other team will play the Eastern Province Kings on Saturday, January 25.

    On February 1 the Cheetahs will play against the Pumas in Parys, before they open their 2014 Vodacom Super Rugby campaign against the Lions in Bloemfontein on Saturday, February 15.

    Kick-off is at 17:05.
