London - The 2019 Cricket World Cup gets underway on Thursday when the Proteas take on tournament favourites and hosts England at The Oval

It is the first of back-to-back matches that South Africa will play at the iconic London venue with a clash against Bangladesh set for Sunday (June 2). 

Sport24 will be bringing you all of the news out of the Proteas camp as it happens, with our very own journalist Lloyd Burnard on the ground following the national side as they look to bring home a first ever World Cup crown.
