Quinton de Kock's one-day career ended following the Proteas' defeat in the Cricket World Cup semi-final against Australia.

While De Kock's final ODI appearance brought another heartache for Proteas fans after a semi-final loss to the eventual champions, the Proteas opener ended as the third-highest run-scorer in the tournament.

De Kock ended his campaign on 594 runs from 10 innings, scoring four centuries and averaging 59.40.
