Mnyamane frustrated by Mbombela

Cape Town - University of Pretoria forward Thabo Mnyamane admits he was frustrated by their loss to Mbombela United in the National First Division promotion play-offs.

AmaTuks suffered a 1-0 loss to the second-tier side, but Mnyamane claims as bad as the result was, it could turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

"I am very disappointed, we tried...we did our best, we had our chances and we should have buried one or two," the 23-year-old told Goal website.

"We hit the woodwork multiple times so I guess it just wasn't our day, but there are still nine points up for grabs and if we get nine points I believe we will retain our (PSL) status."
