Cape Town - Swansea
City's loan player manager Alan Curtis has praised the impact of
manager Carlos Carvalhal for giving the Swans a big boost with his
infectious personality.
Carvalhal took over at the club at the end of 2017, with the Swans sitting on only 13 points from 20 Premier League games, but he soon turned their fortunes around by leading them to 18 points in their next 10 games.
Swansea now sit 14th in the standings, three points clear of the relegation zone, and Curtis admits it will be a challenging end to the season to ensure the club stave off relegation.
"All credit to Carlos," Curtis told the club's official website.
"He has a lovely, bubbly personality and I think he has lifted the players and instilled belief in them.
"They look as if they are really enjoying the game now and we look as if we can give anybody a game.
"It’s going to be tense between now and the end of the season, but I think we have given ourselves a massive opportunity to make sure we have an eighth season in the Premier League."
