The Sharks have already made a smattering of history by becoming the first South African franchise to reach the last-four stage of either the Champions or Challenge Cup.

Now the resurgent Durban-based outfit, on a streak of four wins out of four in all competitions, have no special reason for dread about their semi-final date against Clermont in just under three weeks' time.
