Kaizer Chiefs are not expected to retain the service of Cavin Johnson as the head coach next season having appointed him in October last year when the hierarchy decided to sack Molefi Ntseki.

The Siya Crew understand it was Johnson who then also opted to keep Dillon Sheppard as his assistant when Arthur Zwane was demoted to the junior ranks, but ‘Sheppy’ is yet to know where he stands, going forward.

Sheppard joined Amakhosi in 2020 to form part of new coach Gavin Hunt’s technical team having worked with the four-time title winning mentor at the now defunct Bidvest Wits, clinching a league championship together there.
