Orbit College 0-3 Pretoria Callies

Orbit College's chances of automatic promotion took a knock after a 3-0 defeat to Pretoria Callies on Wednesday afternoon.

Orbit dropped down fourth on the standings, nine points behind leaders Magesi, with six games remaining and the win for the Romans, eased their relegation worries as they jumped up to 11th.

Upington City 1-1 Platinum City

Platinum City Rovers missed the chance to get out of the relegation zone after a 1-1 draw against Upington City on Wednesday afternoon at Mxolisi Dicky Jacobs Stadium.

Bokang Mokwena broke the deadlock for Upington on 24 minutes but City Rovers levelled matters around the hour-mark.

Platinum remained second-from-bottom, equal on points with 14th-placed Milford and Bafana Ba Gucci were left lying ninth on the log.

Venda Football Academy 0-1 Casric Stars

Casric Stars revived their chances of promotion after a narrow 1-0 win over Venda Football Academy on Wednesday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.

Casric got an early goal and that was enough to hand them maximum points, as they moved up to eighth on the table, two points off third place and Venda dropped down to 13th.

Magesi 2-2 Hungry Lions

Magesi's seven-game winning streak was halted after a 2-2 draw against Hungry Lions on Tuesday afternoon at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Mcedi Vandala broke the deadlock for Magesi ten minutes before the interval but Muzomuhle Khanyi levelled matters for Lions just before the break.

Tshepo Mohlala gave Ditau Dia Rora the lead with 19 minutes remaining but Rhulani Manzini rescued a point for Dikwena in added time.

The Limpopo side, however, extended their lead at the top of the table to two points while Lions were left lying seventh.

Maritzburg United 2-0 University of Pretoria

Maritzburg United 2-0 University of Pretoria

University of Pretoria missed the chance to go top of the table after a 2-0 defeat to Maritzburg United on Tuesday evening at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.

Sinamandla Zondi got the breakthrough for Maritzburg on 24 minutes and Sanele Gaxa doubled their lead ten minutes before the interval.

AmaTuks remained second on the table, two points behind leaders Magesi while the win took the Team of Choice up to sixth on the log, as they revived their chances of promotion via the play-offs.

JDR Stars 2-1 Black Leopards

JDR Stars boosted their chances of fighting for promotion after edging Black Leopards 2-1 on Tuesday afternoon at Giant Stadium.

JDR won their fourth game in a row as they climbed up to third on the log while Leopards dropped down to tenth.

Milford 1-1 Marumo Gallants

Marumo Gallants missed the chance to get out of the relegation zone after a 1-1 draw against direct rivals Milford on Tuesday afternoon at Princess Magogo Stadium.

Siphosethu Ndlabi broke the deadlock for Milford shortly before the half-hour mark but Thapelo Dhludhlu levelled matters for Gallants shortly thereafter.

Bahlabane Ba Ntwa remained three points adrift of 14th-placed Milford at the bottom of the log.

NB La Masia 0-0 Baroka

Baroka missed the chance to get back to the promotion places after a goalless draw against NB La Masia on Tuesday afternoon at TUT Stadium

Bakgaga had to settle for fifth spot on the log, one point off the third spot and La Masia were left lying 12th.
