Cape Town - Jomo Cosmos head coach Jomo Sono has confirmed that Thabang Monare will never wear the Ezenkosi shirt again after internal disciplinary issues.
It was reported earlier this week that the midfielder reportedly had a training ground bust-up with club captain Frederick Nsabiyumva.
The player was subsequently suspended impending an investigation and disciplinary hearing.
Sono revealed that Monare, who has had problems with the 60-year old in the past, has been replaced by new signing Sibusiso Kumalo.
"Monare is gone. He will never wear the Cosmos jersey again," Sono confirmed to KickOff.
"We have signed Sibusiso Kumalo from Sundowns to replace him."
Monare who was deemed surplus to requirements following Jomo Cosmos promotion to the PSL, won 'Bra J' over to earn himself a new two-year contract but it seems his days are numbered as Sono cuts his losses on the former FCAK midfielder.
