Cape Town - The 2015/16 National First Division season promises to be one the most exciting yet for Cape Town outfit Vasco da Gama and their new playing kit symbolizes the change in landscape.

With the enormous amount of football talent in the Western Cape, the Mother City is in need of a second club from the city campaigning in the Absa Premiership, and all eyes are on the NFD to see which of the Cape clubs will challenge for promotion and Vasco want to respond to that invite.

Fast becoming a club in the Mother City that attracts up and coming talent through its youth structures as well as the senior team, Vasco continue to follow their club mission, which is ‘to be one of the most respected football clubs in South Africa, admired for the strength of our people, partnerships and performance.’

Enter Vasco’s decision to partner with Kappa for the new season.

The partnership between Vasco and Kappa is expected to help this powerful community club live out their slogan: Força Vasco!

Vasco aim to live by Forca, which means strength, power, force, effort and it is by this ethos that Vasco have become one of the most respected football clubs in South Africa. 

Founded on the strong and proud Portuguese heritage that is prominent in Cape Town, the club were named after the legendary Portuguese explorer, Vasco Da Gama, and the club embodies the spirit of voyaging ahead.
