According to Soccer Laduma, Sarr arrived at the Parktown club last season from Platinum Stars and the midfielder has played an integral part in the Buccaneers season.

“Time goes by so fast I can’t believe that the CBL Cup is here again,” said Sarr.

“It’s almost been a year since I have been with Pirates and I think I have done well for the club. Last year the CBL Cup was my first opportunity at playing against Chiefs and now I want to win the Cup again!”

This will be the fifth edition of the tournament and Pirates boast a better statistic in claiming bragging rights having won the Cup on three occasions.

“A match against Chiefs is always an occasion. Both teams are doing well and it will be a good match for the supporters as this is their cup,” he concluded.

The pre-season encounter is set to played on July 25 at the FNB Stadium.
