Cape Town - Soweto giants Orlando Pirates have been drawn against Guinea side, AS Kaloum in the CAF Confederations Cup draw.
According to CAF’s official website, the Organising Committee for the CAF competition revealed that the procedure for the CAF Confederations Cup draw for the group playoffs will take place in two phases.
The first phase saw the winners of the previous round of the Confederation Cup go up against the teams who got knocked out of the last round of the CAF Champions League.
The 16 clubs have been divided into four pots based on their rankings.
Eric Tinkler and his charges will travel to Guinea in the first leg and later will welcome Kaloum to South Africa.
Draw for the fourth round of the African Confederation Cup:
Al Ahli (Egypt) v Club Africain (Tunisia)
Esperance (Tunisia) v Hearts of Oak (Ghana)
AC Leopards (Congo) v Warri Wolves (Nigeria)
CS Sfaxien (Tunisia) v ASEC Abidjan (Ivory Coast)
Stade Malien (Mali) v AS Vita Club (DR Congo)
AS Kaloum (Guinea) v Orlando Pirates (South Africa)
SM Sanga Balende (DR Congo) v Zamalek (Egypt)
Raja Casablanca (Morocco) v Etoile Sahel (Tunisia)
The first leg will be played on the weekend of May 15-17 with the return legs taking place the following weekend.
The winners advance to the group phase of the Confederation Cup, which gets underway in June.
