Safety a concern for Johnson

Cape Town - Platinum Stars coach Cavin Johnson says that no one is safe from relegation with three games remaining of the season.

According to KickOff, Johnson reveals he does not feel his side is safe yet following a goalless draw against fellow relegation threatened AmaZulu.

“I don't think anybody that is 13th or down is safe. If you think you’ve got it in the bag, you should go and coach somewhere else,” said Johnson.

"I don't feel we are anywhere near being safe and I think the last three games you have to play like it’s a cup final.”

"It makes more sense to watch the bottom of the table rather than the top. You know what is happening [at the top] already, but those games at the bottom are going to be interesting.”

Meanwhile, Stars have three tricky encounters left with match-ups against Mamelodi Sundowns, Polokwane City and Bidvest Wits before the curtain closes on the PSL season.
