Cape Town - University of Pretoria attacking midfielder, Thabo Mnyamane, revealed that he was delighted to be back on the field, after an injury lay-off, following his goal-scoring return to the side on Saturday.
The 22-year-old was also on target alongside Vuyisile Ntombayithethi as AmaTuks defeated Mpumalanga Black Aces 2-1 at the Tuks Stadium on Saturday.
Tendai Ndoro grabbed a consolation goal for the Mbombela-based outfit on the day.
“It was not an easy game at all, it was a tough one.” Mnyamane said after the match.
“But I’m glad to be back playing after a long time and it feels great to be helping the team top get the three points.
“Credit must also go to Mpumalanga Black Aces for a wonderful match we had.
“But otherwise we are happy with a win.”
A win for Tuks kept them on the 9th spot on the PSL standings with just ten games left to play.
They will face Maritzburg United, at home in their next league encounter, on Sunday.
