According to Soccer Laduma, Lekgwathi confirmed he has been training with the team for the past week.
“I’m happy that I have made a full recovery and have been training with the team for a full week,” said the 38-year-old.
The skipper praised Siyabonga Sangweni, Rooi Mahamutsa and Andile Gcaba for the efforts they have put in for the Buccaneers and issued that he has to be careful with when he returns.
“I still want to take things slowly, aggravations can still happen so it’s crucial that I remain careful.”
The Sea Robbers will be looking to improve their home record when they meet Bidvest Wits for the third time this season.
The two sides met twice in the MTN8 Cup where the Buccaneers sent the side from Milpark crashing out of that competition 5-1 on aggregate, on route to the final.
