According to KickOff, Henyekane believes that he has the potential to return to the professional football frame and has set his sights on making a coming back.

“Even though I am playing for the police team here at home I still haven’t given up on getting back into professional football,” said Henyekane.

“The only favour that I can do myself is to try whatever means to keep fit so that when whatever opportunity comes up I am ready.”

Meanwhile Henyekane’s older brother, Richard, is playing striker for Free State Stars.

In 2011 Mpumalanga Black Aces transfer listed the defender following a series of disappearing acts by the player and his refusal to appear before a club disciplinary tribunal.

However the player is adamant that with patience he could once a again conquer the professional realm.

“I just have to be patient a bit but what doesn’t change is that it has always been my mission to get back to playing professional football again.”
