Cape Town - Shu-Aib Walters signed for Mpumalanga Black Aces last week and he believes that the signing of Mushin Ertugral as head coach was a move by the club to focus on youth.

Walters spoke to Sport24 about his excitement at joining what he believes is a growing club.
The goalkeeper suggested that, while the club has let a number of big-name players go, hiring Muhsin Ertugral was a move towards focusing more on younger, unknown players.
“I don’t think that they (Aces) have met what their player profile would require,” said Walters.
“They have had top players, some big earners, and I just don’t think they have met their objective.
“Muhsin is obviously coming in with a different type of plan, as you can see the players that he has signed are not the expensive players that they’ve had before, not the big earners.
“I feel that I can join in on that challenge and help them achieve that goal.”
Aces have been very active in the transfer window so far, with a number of departures and a fair few players coming in.
Aces are now being linked with a big move for Bafana left-back, Marc Van Heerden.
