The future of the veteran 'keeper has been the subject of speculation in recent times, a situation fuelled by claims that Nhlapo would depart the club in the off-season.
Such suggestions were given further credence with the acquisition of former Maritzburg United shot-stopper Shu-Aib Walters, but any lingering doubts have now been put to bed.
"I would like to set the record straight on the issue of Bafana Nhlapo and his contract," Mpumalanga Black Aces administrator Gordon Masondo was quoted as saying by Soccer Laduma.
"He is complaining to me that he has been getting calls from clubs enquiring about his services.
"Bafana will remain an Aces player. Bafana has got a contract with this club and is going to stay here.
"He is one of our long-serving players. He is staying."
