According to the PSL website, the 20-year-old, who is on loan with Steve Komphela’s charges from Mamelodi Sundowns, is looking to improve and build on to his 2013 Nedbank Cup's Most Promising Player of the Season award.
“I'm at a club that is really looking to improve each and every year. The team that we have assembled is really promising and I'm looking forward to improving all the time,” said Mngonyama.
“Both personally and the club have started well and hopefully we can sustain the levels right through the season and give the club the best possible chance to improve on what it has done in the past.”
Mngonyama has also insisted that he had offers from other clubs, but working with Komphela and playing back home is why he opted to play for the Team of Choice instead.
