FULL-TIME: MANCHESTER CITY 2-2 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR. Good entertainment from both sides but they game ends with the score as 2-2 and it is a tie at Etihad Stadium. Manchester City will not be happy about the penalty that was not given, and understandably so. Spurs scored their second goal just after that incident. It ends in a tie.
Both teams pressing for a winner here, late in the game.
Final change for City as Delph replaces Silva. Four minutes of added time to this half and the game is even at 2-2.
Moussa Sissoko tries a through ball but Kane is caught offside for the Spurs.
Sane tries a through ball but Aguero is caught offside.
YELLOW! Wanyama is booked as Spurs pick up another yellow card, their 4th of the game, for a bad tackle on Aguero.
Manchester City make their final change, John Stones replaces Clichy.
Kevin De Bruyne tries a through ball Jesus is caught offside.
Jesus comes on to replace Sterling as City make another change.
Sissoko replaces Dembele as Spurs make their final change.
GOAL, TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR, SON! 2-2: Eriksen passes the ball to the right and finds Kane who flicks it and Son does the rest. Spurs have another goal and the scores are level at 2-2.
This should have been a penalty, Sterling gets a clear push in the back in the box and he shoots while he is off balance and the keeper makes the save.
Rose gets the ball and drills it into the side of the net. A poor effort from him, he should have passed the ball.
De Bruyne catches Rose on the touchline, it is a foul but the Belgian is not booked.
Sane drives inside from the left and passes to Toure. He lays it off to his right for De Bruyne, whose chipped cross is headed away by Wanyama.
Wanyama comes into the centre of the defence next to Dier after the substitution. Spurs need to build and create chances to find another goal.
Another substitution from the Spurs as Toby Alderweireld is replaced by Harry Winks.
Rose tackles Sterling from behind and there are appeals for a penalty but the referee is not interested.
GOAL, TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR, ALLI! 2-1: First goal for the Spurs and it may have come later than they thought it would. It is their first shot on target and Walker cross the ball to Alli who heads it into goal.
City hold the lead around the hour mark and Spurs have to score soon to make a mark.
GOAL, MANCHESTER CITY, DE BRUYNE! 2-0: Poor keeping from Lloris! Sterling shoots and Lloris should have collected the easy shot but he rebounds it to De Bruyne who taps it into goal with ease. Spurs are two goals behind and City push their lead further.
YELLOW! Another booking for Spurs as Alli stands in front of Otamendi for the free-kick. Both the players are booked.
GOAL, MANCHESTER CITY, SANE! 1-0: Sane scores and this will make Spurs think. Lloris comes diving out but Sane gets the ball on the rebound and slots it into the goal. City take the lead!
Second half begins.
Wimmer is replaced by Son, Spurs make an interesting change.
HALF TIME: MANCHESTER CITY 0-0 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR. It is 0-0 after the first 45 and Spurs have not played well in this half. City have played better but they have not managed to score and take advantage of the mistakes from the visitors.
YELLOW CARD! Kolarov is under pressure from Kane as the striker tries to go past him. Kolarov brings him down and that is a yellow card for City.
Two minutes of added time to this half, the score stands at 0-0.
Zabaleta is having a good game so far, he has been given a lot of space and has gotten into good positions.
Spurs have not conceded a goal and they should be happy about that. They have not played well so far.
Another chance for City as Spurs fail to pass the ball well. Aguero's header is saved by the keeper.
A short break in play as Rose has collided with the post. He seems fine and will continue.
Poor passing from Spurs gives City a chance as Sane gets the ball around the penalty area and tries to head it into goal but misses and the ball goes wide. He should have done better there.
Another half chance for Tottenham as Rose tries to drive a cross towards Wanyama but Otamendi is quick to clear the ball.
Spurs have not really played at their best in the first half so far, City have played better but they have not really tested the Spurs goal.
Aguero drives the ball towards Kevin De Bruyne who shoots but his shot misses the ball to the left.
Spurs have made a slight change of formation, reverting to a back four with Dier sitting in front. Pochettino being changing things up.
Harry Kane tries a through ball towards Dele Alli but he is caught offside and Spurs miss another chance.
Pochettino is giving instructions from the sidelines, Spurs have not been dominating the early stages.
Lloris is tested, Silva shoots for goal from 20 yards out and the keeper make a good save.
City have started strong but they have not tested Lloris yet.
Tottenham win a free kick as Kyle Walker is fouled by Sane, scrappy play from both sides.
YELLOW CARD! Another booking for Spurs as Aguero is brought down by Dier and he goes in the book.
YELLOW CARD! Wimmer into the book early for a challenge on Zabaleta close to the box. First booking of the game.
City again get in behind in the box and again they can't pull the trigger. This time it's Zabaleta who is played through, but he can't shoot before he is well tackled from behind. Good tackle from Alderweireld.
Otamendi lines up a shot from 35 yards out but his shot goes wide of target. City are controlling the ball more now.
Spurs are under a bit of pressure as they give the ball away in a dangerous position. But City are not able to capitalise and Spurs are safe.
Danny Rose tries a through ball, but Harry Kane is caught offside for the Spurs.
Spurs in white shirts and navy shorts, they have started this game on the front foot.
