ANOTHER German star reveals United snub

Cape Town - German World Cup winner and Bayern Munich star forward Thomas Muller has rejected the advances of Manchester United.

Metro report that Thomas Muller turned down the chance to leave Bayern Munich this summer.

Reports had linked the German international with a move to Old Trafford to link up with Louis van Gaal but now Muller has revealed leaving Bayern was never really an option.

"The amount that foreign clubs were offering me was astronomical.

"But Bayern are my club, a change was not an issue for me." said the Bayern star.

Manchester United fans will be cursing their luck when hearing Muller's response to the question of whether United had a real shot at signing him

"Of course," Muller told German newspaper Bild.

This is United's second big snub after Marco Reus reportedly turned down the chance to play for Manchester United.
