The Sharks managed to score some good tries against the run of play, however the team that did all the attacking came out on top. It wasn''''t a 52-10 score line this time round, however it was a step to far for this Sharks team.

  • 80'

  • 40'

Mo'unga sends the kick wide of the posts and that will be the last kick of the half, nothing can separate these two teams at halftime, perhaps a piece of individual magic, a drop kick or the bench will prove the difference for either team in the second half. • 0'

Hello and welcome to our live commentary of this eagerly anticipated Super Rugby matchup between the only unbeaten team in Super Rugby 2016, the Sharks, and seven time Super Rugby champions, the Crusaders, from Kings Park Stadium in Durban.

  • 0'

The Sharks have made five changes to the starting XV, including a positional switch. The settled-looking backline welcomes Reinach at scrum-half in the place of Michael Claassens. Philip van der Walt moves to number eight while the hard-working Daniel du Preez takes a spot in the bench and is replaced by his twin brother Jean-Luc on the flank. Coenie Oosthuizen and Franco Marais return to the starting line-up as Gold?s rotational policy continues.

  • 0'

For the Crusaders, All Black Read returns as captain after a well earned rest taking over from Sam Whitelock, who remains at lock. Cody Taylor and Joe Moody come in at hooker and loosehead prop respectively while lock Scott Barrett takes over from Luke Romano. Veteran Andy Ellis starts at scrum-half, with David Havili moving from inside centre to full-back, where he replaces Ben Volavola. Finally, Ryan Crotty comes in to the side to wear the number 12 jersey.

  • 0'

The Sharks remain the only undefeated team in the competition as we head into week five. A strong showing in Cape Town led to a win over the Stormers which was followed by a come-from-behind draw against the Bulls, that should have been a win if you ask Joe Pietersen.

  • 0'

The Crusaders have made a typical slow start to the season. They lost to the Chiefs first up and downed the Blues the following week before heading into their bye. Now, Blackadder?s men are flying high after their 57-24 routing of the Kings in Christchurch last weekend.

  • 0'

Read leads the Crusaders out, the crowd does not take notice as they wait for the home team to make their arrival on the field.

  • 0'

Clashes between these two Super Rugby heavyweights, always produce something special with the Sharks being handed a rugby lesson after going down to the Crusaders 52-10 in the last meeting between the two in Durban in 2015. In 2014 the Sharks did the impossible as they recorded an improbable 30-25 victory over the Crusaders in Christchurch after being down to 14 for a large portion of the game. Expect this game to produce lots of drama, passion and perhaps the odd moment of madness from either team. It is shaping up to be a classic.

  • 0'

The home team make their way onto the field with a warm welcome from the crowd.

  • 0'

Dating back to 2009, the teams have met on eight occasions, with the Crusaders winning on six occasions. The Crusaders are on a two match winning run against the Sharks, with the Sharks last victory coming in 2014 when they produced an inspired performance in overcoming the odds and getting over the line in a 30-25 victory over the Crusaders in Christchurch.

  • 0'

It is a cool and cloudy day here in Durban, the conditions are perfect for some big hits, offloads and sidesteps as these two great teams look set for a titanic battle in perfect conditions.

  • 0'

Jaco Peyper is our referee. Jaco van Heerden and Cwengile Jadezweni will assist him. The TMO is Johan Greeff.
