Dublin - The International Rugby Board (IRB) on Sunday announced the pool draw for Round 7 of the HSBC Sevens World Series taking place in Tokyo between March 31 and April 1.
The draw was made before the Cup final of the HSBC Hong Kong Sevens, the sixth round of the 2011/12 season, won by Fiji.
As Hong Kong champions, Fiji top Pool A at the Prince Chichibu Memorial Ground, but they face a tough trio of matches against England, France and hosts, Japan.
New Zealand reached their fifth Cup final of the Series in Hong Kong and, as runners-up, head Pool B and face matches against rivals Australia, USA and Hong Kong.
Argentina were drawn top of Pool C and they face matches against Wales, Kenya and Russia.
South Africa, who finished third in Hong Kong, headed the draw in Pool D, where they will face Samoa, Scotland and Portugal.
Following Hong Kong, reigning Series champions New Zealand now lead the standings on 111 points, just two clear of Fiji on 109.
South Africa are third, ahead of England and Samoa.
