SA 'A' call up Tsolekile

Cape Town - Highveld Lions wicketkeeper, Thami Tsolekile, has been called up to the South Africa 'A' squad to play Australia at Senwes Park in a four-day tour match starting on Tuesday, as a replacement for Heino Kuhn.

Titans wicketkeeper, Heino Kuhn, suffered a hamstring injury during the recently concluded SuperSport Series match against the Cape Cobras at Willowmoore Park and has had to withdraw.

“Heino has been withdrawn from the squad on the advice of the Cricket South Africa (CSA) medical committee,” commented Andrew Hudson, convener of the CSA selection panel.

“Thami has played excellent cricket in the last two rounds of the SuperSport Series and is second on the batting averages behind Jacques Rudolph with 269 runs, including three half-centuries, at an average of 89.66.”

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
