Gavin Hunt played his role as senior statesman on Wednesday at the sponsors' headquarters during a marathon of press conferences that featured five of the eight Nedbank Cup quarter-finalists.
The SuperSport United coach, who turns 60 in July, was not only the oldest among the five coaches there, but he also has more extensive knowledge of this competition than Mamelodi Sundowns' Rhulani Mokwena, TS Galaxy's Sead Ramovic, Orlando Pirates' Jose Riveiro and Tlisane Motaung of University of Pretoria.
