Gavin Hunt was too upset at news of the sale of Bidvest Wits to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, that left him out of a job, to give his opinion on the bombshell.
Rumours of the Premier Soccer League's club's sale had been rife in the press, but few believed the club were in threat of going out of business - just as they were preparing to celebrate their 100th birthday.
But TTM reportedly completed the deal on Saturday night, before revealing they would not be in a position to be able to afford to keep Hunt as head coach.
Hunt told the Sowetan: "I'm not good. I don't want to say too much, let's talk another day.
"Right now I don't want to talk too much about it, you know, [I am] very upset about it."
He added: "Anyway, I don't want to get involved. We must finish well and we must put this team in Africa, that's the most important thing.
"Right now I just don't want to talk about anything. We need to see that everything happens right. Sorry my friend, I don't want to talk about it anymore."
Wits entered the enforced break in sixth place on the PSL standings with nine games to play.
