The Absa Premiership is scheduled to restart on Tuesday, 11 August and will begin with a blockbuster fixture as Orlando Pirates face Mamelodi Sundowns at Dobsonville Stadium.
The league was suspended in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Other fixtures for the first week of action will see current league leaders, Kaizer Chiefs taking on Wits at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday, 12 August.
This will be followed by a double header on Friday, 14 August as Chippa United face Cape Town City at Orlando Stadium and Highlands Park up against Sundowns at Dobsonville Stadium.
Soccer returns to South Africa on Saturday with the Nedbank Cup semi-finals where Baroka FC take on Bloemfontein Celtic and Sundowns up against Wits.
That means that Sundowns will play three games in seven days and Wits two games in four days as fixtures congest in an attempt to get the season finished.
