Broos challenges Bafana to maintain top 10 African status after over a decade in second class

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has challenged the team to keep their place among the top 10 teams in Africa after spending more than a decade outside that bracket. 

The Africa Cup of Nations' (Afcon) bronze medallists are the 10th ranked team in the continent after their exploits in Ivory Coast where they finished as the third-best team in the tournament. 

Bafana haven't been in the top 10 since 2013 when coach Gordon Igesund led the team to the quarter-finals of that year's Afcon on home soil.
