A muted welcome for the third-best team in Africa, Bafana Bafana, can be expected when they touch down on South African soil from the Ivory Coast, with their Africa Cup of Nations bronze medals in tow, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The South African football team are expected to land at 04:00 at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg on Wednesday, following a successful Afcon tournament in which they finished third after beating the Democratic Republic of Congo on penalties on Saturday.
