When the Bulls' travelling squad for Saturday's Champions Cup quarter-final against Northampton assemble at OR Tambo International on Tuesday evening, those men will board a scarcely believable eight different aircraft to get to England's East Midlands.
Jake White, the franchise's director of rugby, had ruffled feathers (again) in the aftermath of last weekend's impressive 59-19 whipping of Lyon by airing his concerns over a lack of provisional travel planning from SA Rugby, who are required to foot the bill when local franchises reach playoff matches overseas, and his reservations aren't entirely unfounded.
To be fair, the local governing body had to wait until Sunday's result between the Saints and Munster to confirm those arrangements because a victory for the latter - which obviously didn't materialise - would've meant a home fixture for the Bulls.
