Not only has Griquas prop Kudzwai Dube been charged with attempted murder, malicious damage to property, resisting arrest, and public indecency in connection with a liquor store incident, his career is also in jeopardy.

In a statement from CEO Arni van Rooyen, the Griquas Rugby Union revealed that 24-year-old Dube had been arrested after the incident at a Kariega liquor outlet on Monday and that he was expected to appear in court soon.

The Griquas were in Kariega over the weekend after an SA Cup game on Friday that they won 50-0 against Eastern Province.
