Cape Town - In a career spanning over two decades, former Bafana Bafana striker Siyabonga Nomvethe has announced his retirement at 40-years-old.
The veterans contract with AmaZulu ends in December, but will remain a part of the Usuthu squad until then.
Nomvethe is the highest goalscorer in PSL, netting 121 goals in his 21-year football career.
He has also represented Bafana Bafana on 81 occasions, scoring 16 goals.
Football fanatics took to Twitter to celebrate the players career.
