Sipho Mbule: There is more to come

Cape Town - SuperSport United midfielder Sipho Mbule is happy with own performances at the start of the current season but feels he can still develop his game.

The 21-year-old Mbule has impressed in the heart of the Matsatsantsa midfield as the Tshwane club has made a bright start to the season as they have picked up seven points from their first four games and reached the MTN8 semi-finals.

SuperSport head coach Kaitano Tembo has spoken highly about the player but Mbule has challenged himself to keep improving.

"I'm happy with the way my season has started but I think I can still do more," Mbule told the DailySun.

"I don't think you have seen the best of Sipho Mbule just yet, there is a lot more to come."

One of the areas in his game that Mbule believes needs great improvement is his goal scoring ability, saying he needs to hit the back of the net more often.

Mbule continued: "I just need to score more goals and create more chances.

"I have been working hard on my final product, if I can do it more often at training then it will be easy for me to do it during the matches."

SuperSport will host Cape Town City in an Absa Premiership clash on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 20:15.
