Rhulani not feeling pressure at Orlando Pirates

Cape Town - Interim coach Rhulani Mokwena says he does not feel under any extra pressure to turn results around at Orlando Pirates.

Mokwena took over as caretaker coach of the Soweto giants early in the season following the departure of Milutin Sredojevic.

However, things have not gone well for the Buccaneers as they sit in eighth position on the league table and have the second-worst defensive record so far.

The 34-year-old Mokwena insists though that he and his team are working hard to get things right.

Mokwena told reporters: "Pressure, no - it’s more passion than anything.

"I think the supporters can see we are giving the best we can and unfortunately when it's your turn and you just have to see yourself through."

Pirates will hope to turn their season around when they play Stellenbosch FC after the international break on 26 October.

Mokwena continued: "We have to be brave and we don't feel sorry for ourselves. We just have to be strong and keep going."
