Motaung confirms Baxter's exit

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs chairman Kaizer Motaung has confirmed that Stuart Baxter will no longer be the head coach of the Naturena club.

The 70-year-old revealed at Amakhosi's press conference that both parties came together and agree that Baxter's contract be "terminated".

"I know that the pens are itching and you (media) don't want to hear my speech,” said Motaung of the recent media speculation.

"We will address the issue of the Coach, there has been a lot of speculation.

"We sat down and we agreed that it is time for change and time to move on.

"It is confirmed today that the Coach and Chiefs have terminated the contract.

"The working relations are good and we have no issues to worry about"

Bacter had one year left on his current deal and confirmed that he will return to Sweden to rest after a long season.
