Mosimane: I want to stay at Sundowns

Cape Town - Pitso Mosimane has revealed that he wants to keep going as Mamelodi Sundowns head coach and is currently in contract negotiations with the club.

The enigmatic tactician has been at Chloorkop since 2012 and has enjoyed tremendous success since then, winning the Absa Premiership on three occasions and claiming a historic CAF Champions League title.

"I want to stay. My heart and spirit is here. It is in that space where there are contract negotiations taking place of course," said Mosimane, as quoted by KickOff.

"I will never question if Sundowns want me to stay. The president has said it and has told you guys.

"I am telling you I want to stay. I am not going to tell you 'I am thinking, I will see, and drag time, I don't know'.

"I want to stay, but we need to talk about the contract. Negotiations are ongoing. There are people helping me with the negotiations."

Mosimane is in a great position to add more silverware to the Sundowns trophy cabinet this season as they will take on Maritzburg United in the Telkom Knockout final on December 14.
