Cape Town - Platinum Stars have added to their squad with the signing of SuperSport United midfielder Zama Rambuwane on a loan deal.
Dikwena's other two signings in January, midfielder Manti Mekoa and attacker Letsie Koapeng, were also acquired on a free transfer as they were both free agents.
Stars coach Roger De Sa believes the 20-year-old SuperSport development product will add some spark to his side's attack and he also spoke glowingly of the player's credentials.
"It's great to have Zama. We are happy to have him sign with us. He gives us a bit of width. I think with Dox (Katlego Otladisa) out with that long term injury, we needed another player to play out wide.
"As young as Zama is, he has got a lot of experience. He has played at SuperSport and he has played in Israel. He has travelled Europe and he has played for youth national teams.
"He is a big strong boy and I think he gives us supply to our strikers. He has a fighting spirit. He is here to learn and get better and I am sure he will."
Rambuwane could be in line to make his debut against Ajax Cape Town at the Cape Town Stadium on Friday night.
Kick-off is at 20:00.
